Bournemouth have announced that goalkeeper Adam Federici will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury.
The 32-year-old Australian international suffered damage to the cartilage in his right knee in training session and has since undergone surgery. Federici has served as back-up to Artur Boruc so far this season, making just five appearances including two in the English Premier League.
